Weco Multipower 184 is an innovative and robust inverter power source for welding with all kinds of electrodes and has predefined settings for coated electrode´s type (cellulose, basic, rutile, stainless steel & aluminum) allowing you to automatically optimize the processing parameters for each kind of base material.
A built-in Total Protection system protects the internal components from over voltage and makes the unit suitable for use with unstable power supply and motor generators.
Multipower 184 is equipped with PFC (Power Factor Corrector) designed for input voltages from 90 V ac up to 270 V ac, allowing the inverter to supply the appropriate current needed for certain welding conditions and also allows the use of power supply cables up to 100 meters.
Factory optimized Hot Start, Arc Force and Anti Sticking allows easy and excellent quality welding using electrodes up to 4 mm diameter, however the Hot Start and Arc Force functions are also fully adjustable.
Lift Start function guarantees arc ignition without damaging the tungsten electrode.
The DYNAMIC ARC function automatically increases the welding current when the arc voltage decreases and vice versa. This controls the heat input to the workpiece allowing for better arc control in situations such root pass on pipes.
Supplied with 4 meter welding leads.
